The Castle Giant sets out to avenge his brother, whom he (mistakenly) believes was captured and converted into a dwelling for the two-legged ants. The ants, er, I mean the knights, plead with him to see reason, but I fear it might not go well for them.
Rendered in August 2020 in Poser Pro 11 Firefly at 4000 × 2250 pixels, using direct lighting (one infinite light sun and an IBL light) with Depth Cue atmosphere enabled. Postwork in Photoshop (original render) and in Painnt (storybook illustration style, above).
