This one is dedicated to kelchris3 for the inspiration to dust off my Cookie content collection and to trumarcar, who has made an absolutely amazing bounty of freebies available for Cookie and other toons on her Treasure Chest and KCTC sites.
After I’d finished this scene, I thought, “Hey, wouldn’t it be cool if the light streaming in was visible in the air?” So I set up volumetric lighting and started a test render at quarter size. Half an hour later, when the render still hadn’t moved past the first few rows, I canceled it, because I consider half an hour to be too long to wait even for a full size render! The DepthCue feature on Poser’s atmosphere renders much more quickly than the Volume feature, so I’ve used that for background fog and similar effects, but it doesn’t work on lighting. I guess I don’t have the patience for volumetric lighting!
