I created a paint brush and paint can for a fairy scene, but when my 3DU toon monsters got ahold of them, I realized I’d have to make a complete “Messy Painter” props set! The paint brushes have morphs to bend the bristles and to show a strip of paint extending from the tip, so your characters can actually put the brushes to use.
Package includes 9 props, 110+ Firefly materials (with 1 clean and 14 “messy” paint colors for each prop), and 12 hand poses for V4 and M4. BONUS: Also includes a set of Spec-Only and Preview-Only lights to help with IDL renders, plus ambient mats for the Poser Construct.
Set up in Poser Pro 11 but should work in earlier versions of Poser from 9 and up. Not tested in DAZ Studio but may work fine with manually-applied shaders.
The Readme has a lot of useful info and tips for using this set, and I’ve also included screenshots on how to change paint colors.
This is my largest freebie prop set yet, and I don’t have any beta-testers, so PLEASE let me know if anything in the set doesn’t work as you’d expect. I’d also love to see renders made with any of these props!
All OBJs were modeled and UV mapped in Cheetah3D for Mac. All original texture and image maps were created in Photoshop CC 2018.
