“Slonya” wanted to show off her pretty new spring dress and hat, so I agreed to take her portrait 🙂

Kelchris3 and I were trying to track down an old freebie dress for Slon when I got the idea to try putting Vila’s dress on Slon. I used the Fig-to-Prop script to turn the dress into a prop, scaled it a bit, used the morph brush to tighten the straps and arm hole areas, and then ran a dynamics simulation on it (with the dress parented to Slon’s chest). And it worked just fine! In fact, for this pose, I didn’t even need to bother with the simulation. In total, took about 5-6 minutes. (I also tried using the Fitting Room, but that was not a good solution in this case.)
On the freebie wiki page for the old dress, the image shows Slon also wearing a ladies hat with hair, so that prompted me to go searching through my V4 hair collection to see what might work. I was surprised that a search of my V4 Hair folder revealed only one item (out of 175+) that included a hat, but luckily that one worked out pretty well!
