Telka journeys to Mama Utla’s island retreat to spend some time with her old friend and mentor. And perhaps to fetch something for her from the smaller house, as Mama’s eaten a little too much pie to make it across that delicate suspension bridge any longer!

This project started off as an effort to figure out how 1971s does those cool atmospheric effects in his product promos. I still don’t know how he does them, but I came up with a few methods I like for my own renders of his stuff! I also just made a new skin texture and some additional clothing for Nursoda’s Telka figure and wanted to put her into a scene with a 1971s model, but with the way she’s lit you probably can’t even see those. So I guess I’ll have to do another render with her — oh darn!
