After enduring rather cramped quarters on their spaceship flight back to earth, the Onats family is now enjoying the spacious accommodations on a cruise ship promenade deck, although I don’t have the heart to tell them that this is not actually their room 🙂
In breaking news: for the first time on their trip, the daughter’s attention has actually been caught by something other than her nails or her phone! Could a shipboard romance be in the making?

I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get the ocean water to appear along the edge of the ship, under where the father and son are, but I couldn’t get the water high enough without it also emerging through the decking, and when I tried using a separate prop for the water along the side, I couldn’t get the materials to match with the larger water plane. In the end all you can see is a little triangle of water, which I added a little foam to, but the area is so small as to be hardly worth the bother. I have tons of Photoshop brushes for sea foam, but none of them were suitable for adding a full color water wake alongside the ship’s outer surface, alas!
